๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿ’ผ Role Overview

The Wet Services Project Engineer will contribute to the design, coordination, and delivery of wet services engineering solutions, including plumbing, drainage, and MEPF building services, across multiple projects. This role requires hands-on engineering expertise, project management skills, and compliance with industry codes and standards.


๐Ÿ“ Key Responsibilities

โš™ Engineering & Project Delivery

  • Perform full plumbing and drainage designs according to SANS 10252, SANS 10400, and relevant British codes

  • Conduct theoretical designs and calculations for wet services systems

  • Generate and manage project budgets, valuation certificates, and cost reports

  • Prepare tender documents, specifications, measure Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and compile JBCC-based tender documents

  • Attend site visits and meetings, following up on all required actions

๐Ÿ›ก Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (SHEQ)

  • Serve as a role model for SHEQ standards and behaviour

  • Contribute to the identification and management of SHEQ risks

  • Promote company values and maintain a safe working environment at all times


๐ŸŽ“ Qualifications & Experience

Essential Qualifications:

  • BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university

  • Candidate engineer with ECSA registration; full professional registration advantageous

Experience:

  • 3โ€“5 years in wet services design and project management

  • Experience in MEPF building services is highly advantageous

  • Proficient with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam

  • Solid knowledge of SANS 10252, SANS 10400, and CIBSE/BS/ASPE codes

  • Demonstrated experience in project budgeting, cost reporting, tender documents, and BOQs

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English

  • Computer literacy and ability to travel to remote project sites

  • Mobility and own transport required

  • Willingness to travel internationally if required
