What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the programme, selected candidates will:

  • Apply foundational chemical safety knowledge in live plant operations

  • Gain exposure to SAP and Microsoft Office systems for workplace reporting

  • Assist with plant start-up and shut-down processes

  • Conduct daily routine inspections of machinery and equipment

  • Participate in team discussions focused on equipment and process performance

  • Maintain strict compliance with safety and quality standards

Who Should Apply?

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Chemical Engineering and/or Pulp & Paper Technology

  • Minimum 60% average pass rate

  • Completion of P1 & P2 practical training in a heavy industrial setting is advantageous

  • Valid South African driver’s license

  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset
