🛍️ INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

The YES Buyer Internship is ideal for graduates passionate about fashion, retail trends, and commercial buying. This role provides hands-on exposure to the retail buying function, combining creative trend research with analytical decision-making and operational execution.

Interns will work closely with Buying and Planning teams, gaining insight into how products are selected, sourced, and brought to market.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with Buying administration, including order creation, amendments, and sample management

• Liaise with Marketing teams regarding products for photoshoots

• Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Buying team

• Research emerging fashion and retail trends

• Support buyers in curating and selecting future product ranges

• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to support buying decisions

• Collaborate with the Planning team to align buys with business strategy

• Share insights and ideas to enhance product ranges and customer appeal

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

📚 Education

Relevant Diploma or Degree in:

• Fashion

• Retail Business Management

• Or a related field

🧠 Skills

• Strong analytical and research skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Ability to leverage technology for productivity and problem-solving

• Strong interest in building a career as a Retail Buyer
