📊 INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

The YES Planner Internship is designed for graduates who are passionate about retail planning, data analysis, and commercial decision-making. This role provides exposure to the planning function within retail, where data, trends, and customer insights shape product strategy and business performance.

Interns will work closely with buying and planning teams, gaining practical experience in market analysis, sales data interpretation, and demand forecasting.

🛠️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Explore market trends and conduct trend analysis to support planning decisions

• Collaborate with the Buying Team to gain insights into product selection and assortment planning

• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to inform planning strategies

• Contribute innovative ideas to enhance product offerings and commercial performance

• Support planning activities through data preparation, analysis, and reporting

• Demonstrate enthusiasm, curiosity, and a proactive approach to learning

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

📚 Education

Relevant Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:

• Finance

• Statistics

• Mathematics

• Accounting

• Economics

• Or a related discipline

🧠 Skills

• Strong analytical and research capabilities

• High attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Good interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
