Key Responsibility Areas:
Manages the staff of the projects.
Undertakes technical decision making and management.
Undertakes construction work quality control.
Management of a construction/subordinates and related items.
Financial management and authorisations.
Training and development of labourers and staff.
Ensures health and safety compliance with statutory regulations which includes protocols and procedures.
Manages administration of construction site.
Represents eThekwini water services at multi-disciplinary project meetings.
Undertake driving duties.
Undertake related assignments.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering Technology (NQF Level 7) in Civil Engineering.
Registered as a Professional Civil Engineering Technologist with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
Valid motor vehicle driving license
3 Years relevant post qualification experience.
Computer Literacy.
