Job Description

A well-established consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its team in Durbanville on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and infrastructure projects, particularly electrical reticulation, to become part of a collaborative and technically driven environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering projects while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for infrastructure and development projects.

Prepare technical designs, specifications, calculations, and engineering reports.

Design and coordinate electrical reticulation systems.

Produce and review engineering drawings and project documentation.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction.

Ensure designs comply with applicable South African standards and client specifications.

Manage project deliverables within programme and budget requirements.

Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 6 years' relevant electrical engineering experience.

Experience in electrical reticulation will be highly advantageous.

Strong understanding of electrical engineering design principles and infrastructure projects.

Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
