Job Overview

Element is seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Specialist / Office Manager to support growing teams across South Africa, Ghana, and Burkina Faso.

This dual-function role combines HR administration and office management responsibilities to ensure smooth business operations and a positive employee experience in a multicultural environment. The position offers exposure to both strategic HR initiatives and operational support functions.


Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Support

  • Support teams across South Africa, Ghana, and Burkina Faso in HR-related matters

  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes

  • Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases

  • Assist with payroll preparation and liaise with external payroll providers

  • Administer leave, attendance, and benefits records

  • Support performance review processes and employee engagement initiatives

  • Maintain health and safety compliance

  • Ensure compliance with relevant labour regulations

  • Support BBBEE reporting processes

Office Management

  • Oversee daily office operations

  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships

  • Coordinate facilities management and service providers

  • Support company events, meetings, and internal communications

  • Handle correspondence and general administrative duties


Qualifications

πŸŽ“ Education

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

πŸ’Ό Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources role

  • Solid knowledge of South African labour laws

  • Experience with BBBEE reporting processes

  • Exposure to multinational or multicultural environments advantageous

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Experience with HRIS systems

  • Proficiency in MS Office

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
