Purpose of the Job
The Operations Manager Designate role is to manage a group of stores through the varioius OK Franchise owners and/or managers by providing support and guidance to ensure all goals and objectives set for the region are met.
Job Objectives
Maximise sales; identify gaps and opportunities related to product lines
Manage and minimize costs
Manage and minimize shrinkage
Manage and control company assets
Conduct regular branch inspections
Monitor and ensure the consistent implememtation of company policy, standards, procedures and systems within the region
Effective use of reports
Analyse reports and ensure effective implementation
Grow market share within the region
Identify gaps and propose business opportunities within the region
Ensure service excellence
Identify possible revamps of old stores
Ensure successful openings of new stores
Ensure effective security implementation within the region
Qualifications
Grade 12 certificate - (essential).
Tertiary qualification in retail management or a related field - (desired)
Experience
3-5 years' retail management experience gained through working in a food retail store - (essential).
Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer management, merchandising, stock management, cash handling, banking, financial controls, systems, reporting and administration - (essential).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 - (essential).

Detailed, rule-orientated and organised - Strong eye for detail and diligently follows instructions and procedures. Carefully watches over work processes, tasks and outputs to ensure accuracy and initiates prompt action to correct any quality concerns.??
Planning and organising - Plans, organizes, and delegates work effectively, ensuring delivery against deadlines and quality standards. Strong drive for operational execution and ensures processes, targets and performance measurements are continuously met or exceeded.
Communicates well and confidently conveys information to various stakeholders. Good spoken and written fluency in English along with the ability to convey information / data clearly and accurately.
