ENVIRONMENT:

Our client, a fast-growing multinational and JSE listed business within the Financial Services environment, is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Executive / Business Development Consultant to join their high-performance Johannesburg team.

The role will focus on generating new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and engaging with senior professionals and decision makers across multiple industries.

DUTIES

Develop and grow new business opportunities across multiple sectors

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients

Conduct outreach, networking, and business development activities

Identify client needs and present suitable solutions and services

Manage the sales process from lead generation through to closing

Consistently achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets

Represent the business professionally in the market

Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM activity reporting

Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to drive growth initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in sales, business development, account acquisition, or client engagement preferred

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Commercially minded with strong relationship building ability

Highly organized, proactive, and energetic personality

Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-performance environment

Strong academic achievements advantageous

Experience within financial services, recruitment, consulting, professional services, or

corporate sales environments beneficial

Johannesburg based

Willing to work primarily office based
