Managing a busy appointment schedule, including bookings, confirmations, and follow-ups
Handling a high volume of calls and emails with accuracy and courtesy
Processing payments, invoicing, and maintaining financial records
Maintaining and updating patient files and practice management systems
Assisting with the coordination of admissions, discharges, and treatment plans
Providing knowledgeable support and guidance to pet owners where appropriate
Liaising effectively with veterinarians, nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Ensuring the reception and waiting area remains clean, organised, and welcoming
Minimum Requirements
Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is essential
A passion for animals and their well-being
Excellent communication skills and a sparkling, friendly personality
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Computer proficiency
Flexibility to work varying shifts
