Job Overview

The Backend Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that support web applications. The role primarily focuses on a .NET-based architecture with integrations into Microsoft Dynamics 365, while also contributing to the transformation of systems into cloud-native applications.

You will collaborate with global teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to define problems and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development & Maintenance

Develop backend services aligned with architectural roadmaps
Maintain and support .NET REST APIs
Identify and resolve system defects and performance issues

System Integration & Collaboration

Ensure interoperability with internal systems and applications
Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders globally
Participate in solution design and problem-solving processes

Cloud & Modernisation

Support refactoring of legacy systems into cloud-native applications
Work with modern development practices and scalable architectures

Qualifications

Education

Relevant qualification in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)

Experience

Experience working in remote Agile development teams
Proven experience in .NET REST API development
Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases

Skills

Strong understanding of backend development principles
Experience with unit testing and clean coding practices (FAST principles)
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 integrations

Advantageous Skills:

AWS cloud-native development
Experience with AWS Lambda and Serverless Framework
