Job Overview
The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources is inviting applications for the Petroleum Licensing and Fuel Supply Internship Programme at its Pretoria Head Office.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates interested in office administration, licensing processes and fuel supply management within the government sector. Interns will gain practical experience while supporting the departmentโs daily operations.
Successful candidates will be responsible for arranging their own transport and accommodation during the internship period.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Petroleum Licensing and Fuel Supply unit.
- Assist with processing and filing licensing applications and fuel supply records.
- Capture and maintain data on departmental systems.
- Prepare correspondence, reports and other office documents.
- Support the management of records and document control.
- Assist with enquiries and communication related to fuel licensing matters.
- Participate in training and workplace development programmes.
Qualifications
Education
Applicants must hold a National Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
- Public Administration or Public Management
- Office Management and Technology
- Office Administration
Experience
- No previous work experience is required.
- Applicants who have participated in a previous government internship programme will not be considered.
