JOB OVERVIEW

The Assistant General Worker provides general site assistance and operational support to ensure daily activities run safely and efficiently. This role supports site teams with inspections, housekeeping, basic operational tasks, and adherence to safety and operational procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support site teams in achieving operational goals and daily targets

• Assist with daily inspections and report hazards or deviations

• Support pipeline and valve operations under supervision

• Assist with identifying and escalating operational challenges

• Perform general site duties as assigned to support operations

• Maintain cleanliness and safety through basic housekeeping duties

• Execute all tasks in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Comply with all safety rules, regulations, and company procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Minimum basic schooling (Grade 10/12 advantageous)

Experience

• General labour or site work experience (advantageous)

Skills

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

• Basic problem-solving ability

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Physically fit and willing to work on-site

• Safety-conscious and reliable
