Job Description:

Start your professional journey with the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Treasury! We are excited to announce the In-Service Training Programme 2025, specially designed for students from KwaZulu-Natal TVET Colleges who need practical experience to complete their studies.

This 18-month in-service traineeship, based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, offers a unique opportunity for students to gain essential work experience across key departments within the provincial treasury. This programme is ideal for students passionate about finance, administration, media, and marketing and eager to contribute to public service.

Programme Overview:

  • Location: KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

  • Duration: 18 months (from 1 July 2025 to 31 December 2026)

  • Type: In-Service Training (Experiential Learning)

  • Compensation: Please note this programme is unpaid

Who Should Apply?

The programme targets TVET College students who:

  • Are currently enrolled in N4, N5, or N6 levels in the following fields:

    • Financial Management

    • Management Assistant (Office Administration)

    • Public Management or Public Administration

    • Media or Marketing Management (including Digital Marketing, Social Media Monitoring, Media Studies, Public Relations)

  • Reside in KwaZulu-Natal

  • Have not previously participated in any in-service training

  • Are between 18 and 40 years of age

  • Are willing to relocate if needed and work without compensation

Special consideration will be given to students with disabilities.
