Job Overview

Deloitte is recruiting graduates for its IT and Specialised Assurance Graduate Programme 2027 based in Johannesburg. The 12-month programme is designed to equip graduates with practical consulting, IT assurance, and technology risk management experience while working with international clients.

Graduates will join the IT Assurance and Advisory team as Junior Consultants and receive ongoing mentorship, technical development, and exposure to global best practices in technology assurance and business risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Deloitte will require successful candidates to:

  • Participate in IT assurance and advisory engagements across multiple industries
  • Support audit and risk assessment activities related to technology systems and business processes
  • Assist engagement teams in delivering technology assurance solutions
  • Learn global IT audit methodologies and compliance standards
  • Analyse technology risks, controls, and governance processes
  • Work with high-profile international clients on technology-related projects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in solving business and IT challenges
  • Participate in formal learning, mentorship, and client exposure opportunities

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Deloitte requires applicants to have completed or be completing one of the following qualifications:

  • BCom in Information Technology or Information Science
  • BSc in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • BEng Industrial Engineering
  • Other relevant technology-related qualifications

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualification in a related technology field
  • Academic leadership or extracurricular involvement

Experience Requirements

  • No previous work experience is required
  • Applicants should have less than 6 consecutive months of work experience or no experience at all
  • Strong interest in technology, business systems, and consulting environments is essential
