Job Overview
The Junior Support Analyst will be responsible for evaluating, testing and improving digital platforms to ensure a seamless user experience. This role focuses on identifying usability issues, performance gaps and functionality problems across websites and applications.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about technology, user experience and system quality. You will work closely with teams to ensure that digital products meet high performance and usability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess website and application usability, design and functionality
- Evaluate navigation flow, layout and overall user experience
- Identify usability challenges and recommend improvements
- Test features across multiple browsers, devices and screen sizes
- Ensure responsive design and consistent display across platforms
- Detect and report bugs, errors and system issues
- Monitor performance metrics such as load times and responsiveness
- Suggest optimisations to improve speed and system efficiency
- Analyse user feedback to identify enhancement opportunities
- Recommend new features to improve engagement and usability
- Ensure consistency in content, layout and branding across platforms
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
- Collaborate with teams to support continuous system improvement
Qualifications
Education
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate (required)
- Basic IT, digital systems or related studies will be advantageous
Experience
- Entry-level position suitable for beginners
- Any exposure to website testing, QA or digital platforms is an advantage
- Basic understanding of system or application usage preferred
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
