Job Overview
The Learning and Development Internship is designed for graduates who are passionate about employee growth, training, and organisational development.
In this role, you will support the Learning and Development team in designing, managing, and reporting on training programmes across the Takealot Group. You will gain hands-on experience in learning systems, training coordination, and data-driven reporting while working in a dynamic e-commerce environment.
This internship is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in Human Resources, Training, or Organisational Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining learning pathways across departments
- Support the structuring of development programmes for interns and employees
- Capture and maintain training data and learner records
- Assist with attendance registers and training documentation
- Support monthly Learning & Development reporting
- Assist with data analysis for dashboards and management reports
- Compile training statistics and track learner progress
- Support compliance documentation and reporting processes
Qualifications
Education
- N6 Certificate in:
- Human Resource Management
- Or a related field
Experience
- No formal experience required (internship level)
- Exposure to HR or training environments is advantageous
Skills
- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Computer literacy (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Google Workspace)
