Job Overview

World Kinect is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join its remote marketing operations team in Johannesburg.

The successful candidate will support digital campaign execution, marketing automation and website content production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed digital production work, thrives in organised processes and wants to deepen their expertise in marketing systems such as HubSpot and Drupal.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage emails, templates, workflows, forms and nurture campaigns in HubSpot.
• Create and maintain landing pages and thank-you pages.
• Schedule, test and deploy email marketing campaigns.
• Ensure naming conventions, tags and file structures are maintained.
• Support audience segmentation and monitor campaign performance.
• Update and publish website content using Drupal.
• Ensure website content follows formatting, metadata and user experience standards.
• Perform quality assurance before content is published.
• Support regular content updates and campaign page refreshes.
• Work closely with marketing teams and the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist.
• Communicate project progress, timelines and risks effectively.
• Assist with editing and formatting content when needed.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• 1 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing production or marketing automation.
• Previous experience with HubSpot or Drupal is strongly preferred.
• Agency or structured production environment experience will be advantageous.
• HubSpot or Drupal certification will be beneficial.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of HubSpot, Drupal and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite will be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow processes and improve workflows.
