Job Overview
The Mechanical Engineering Intern: Site & Services role offers graduates practical exposure to engineering maintenance, site services, operational support, and distribution centre processes within a leading e-commerce environment.
The successful candidate will assist technicians with maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment, managing inventory, supporting operational processes, and contributing to workplace safety and efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering and Maintenance Support
- Assist technicians with maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment
- Support site services and operational maintenance activities
- Help ensure equipment operates efficiently within the distribution centre
Inventory and Operational Support
- Assist with inventory management of tools and spare parts
- Support operational processes within the distribution centre
- Collaborate with different departments on operational activities
Reporting and Safety
- Report unsafe acts and housekeeping issues
- Assist with maintaining workplace safety standards
- Support data analysis and operational reporting activities
Administrative and Technical Support
- Assist with engineering-related documentation and reporting
- Support data analysis using Excel and other reporting tools
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Education
- N6 Certificate in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Related Engineering Field
Experience
- Previous practical exposure in engineering or operations will be advantageous
- No formal work experience required
Skills
- Computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Data analysis skills
- Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Power BI and SQL knowledge will be advantageous
