🧾 JOB OVERVIEW

The National Certificate: Supply Chain Management Learnership (NQF Level 5) provides unemployed youth with an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience and an accredited qualification within a professional logistics environment.

Successful candidates will be based at the SPAR North Rand Distribution Centre for a period of twelve (12) months. A total of 50 learners will be enrolled in this programme, combining structured theoretical training with hands-on exposure in supply chain operations.

📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in accredited Supply Chain Management training modules

• Gain workplace exposure in distribution, logistics, and supply chain processes

• Assist with inventory control, procurement support, and operational activities

• Adhere to workplace safety standards and company policies

• Complete assessments, logbooks, and learning assignments

• Work collaboratively with supervisors and operational teams

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience

• No prior work experience required

• Must be currently unemployed

• Must not be enrolled in any other qualification

Skills

• Interest in supply chain, logistics, or retail operations

• Strong attention to detail

• Basic numeracy and communication skills

• Willingness to learn and work in a structured environment
