Job Overview
The CIB Technology Graduate Programme is designed for tech-driven graduates who want to shape the future of banking through innovation. This 18-month programme blends structured learning with practical experience across the full technology lifecycle.
You will gain exposure to system design, software development, testing, deployment, and live production support within a high-performance environment. Working alongside experienced professionals, youโll contribute to building scalable solutions that power trading systems, transaction platforms, and complex financial products.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities (analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
- Assist in building and maintaining scalable financial systems and applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Global Markets and Transaction Banking
- Support live production environments, including maintenance and troubleshooting
- Contribute to automation, cloud, and infrastructure solutions
- Apply modern technologies to solve complex business problems
- Stay updated with emerging tech trends and tools in fintech
Qualifications
Education
- Postgraduate qualification (completed or completing in 2026) in:
- Computer Science
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
- Electronic Engineering
- Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Financial Mathematics
- Statistics
- Informatics / Information Systems
- Software Development / Software Engineering
- Data Engineering / Data Science
- Quantitative Risk Management
Experience
- Maximum of 2 yearsโ work experience
- Must be under 30 years of age
- Strong academic performance (minimum 65% average)
Skills
- Proficiency or exposure to programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, C++)
- Understanding of software development and system architecture
- Knowledge of databases and cloud technologies is advantageous
