🧾 JOB OVERVIEW

The National Certificate: Transport Operations Learnership (NQF Level 5) is designed to provide unemployed youth with practical workplace exposure and accredited training in transport and logistics operations. Successful learners will be placed at the SPAR North Rand Distribution Centre for a period of twelve (12) months.

A total of 20 learners will be enrolled in this programme, combining theoretical learning with hands-on experience within a structured logistics environment.

📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in accredited Transport Operations training modules

• Gain practical exposure within a distribution centre environment

• Assist with transport planning, logistics coordination, and operational support

• Comply with workplace policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Complete assessments, assignments, and workplace logbooks

• Work collaboratively with supervisors and logistics teams

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Grade 12 (Matric)

Experience

• No prior work experience required

• Must be currently unemployed

• Must not be studying towards another qualification

Skills

• Interest in transport, logistics, and supply chain operations

• Good communication and numeracy skills

• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Age Requirement

• Must be between 18 and 34 years old
