About the Role

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant in our Procurement Department - someone who thrives on detail, supports our supply chain with precision, and strengthens the way we serve our internal teams, suppliers, and clients.

You will play a vital role in managing administrative processes that keep our procurement function running smoothly, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every day.

The position will be based at our Distribution Centre in Bethlehem.

Key Responsibilities

Uphold high standards in all procurement-related administration.

Create, update, and maintain supplier code lists and price lists.

Work closely with internal departments, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless communication.

Offer support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders towards the product managers' allocated ranges, specifically to agricultural-related product groups with a specific focus on irrigation and related products.

Analyze supplier data and identify key trends to support decision-making.

Handle and process claims from both internal branches and external customers.

Proactively identify risks and contribute to minimizing them.

Support the procurement team with other administrative duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

Grade 12 or NQF4 qualification.

Prior experience in procurement administration (advantageous).

Basic knowledge of agricultural goods and services, with a focus on irrigation and related items.

Strong numeracy and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Meticulous, accurate, and thorough approach to work.
