Job Overview

The Finance Internship provides graduates with practical workplace experience within the finance and supply chain operations of the NRCS. The intern will support financial administration, reporting, and operational finance activities while gaining exposure to financial management processes in a public sector regulatory environment.

The role is designed to help graduates develop professional skills in financial administration, data management, and operational support within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with finance administration and financial record management

• Support preparation of financial documentation and reports

• Assist with data capturing, reconciliations, and transaction verification

• Provide support to supply chain finance processes and documentation tracking

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents

• Assist with budget monitoring and reporting tasks

• Provide administrative support to the Finance and Supply Chain teams

Qualifications

Education

• National Diploma or Degree in:

  • Finance

  • Accounting

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Logistics Management

Experience

• No prior work experience required

• Suitable for recent graduates or students requiring workplace experience

Skills

• Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
