Job Overview
The CETA Graduate Internship Programme 2026 is designed to provide professional and generic workplace experience to unemployed graduates.
The Governance and Audit Internship will expose successful candidates to auditing, compliance, governance processes, and public sector regulatory frameworks. Interns will rotate within divisions to gain broad exposure and develop practical administrative and audit-related competencies.
Key Responsibilities

Perform entry-level functional tasks within the assigned unit

Handle correspondence, enquiries, and maintain records and files
-
Provide administrative support for budgeting processes

Assist with audit preparation and information gathering

Collate data and prepare monthly and quarterly reports
-
Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes
-
Assist in preparing presentations (at least one per quarter)

Support supervisors and managers with delegated tasks

Participate in structured rotational planning across divisions
Qualifications
๐ Education
National Diploma, BTech, or Degree in:

Auditing
-
Accounting
-
Public Administration
-
Or equivalent relevant qualification
๐ Eligibility Requirements

South African citizen under the age of 35

Valid South African ID

Must not have participated in any previous SETA-sponsored internship

Must not have been previously employed
