You'll get exposure to:

E-learning and microlearning content

Learner guides, workbooks and assessments

Presentations, simple videos, graphics and multimedia

Instructional design and adult learning principles

AI-assisted content creation using tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini or Claude

Learning Management Systems and digital content libraries

Webinars, virtual learning sessions and learning events

Content quality assurance, proofreading and version control

Working with stakeholders to gather information and feedback

Most importantly, you'll be learning as you go and building the skills to grow into a confident Instructional Designer.

Requirements

About you

You're probably the person who enjoys taking messy information and making it easier to understand.

You're creative, curious and comfortable learning new technology. You care about the small details, but you can also see the bigger picture: helping someone understand something better.

You'll ideally have:

A Diploma or Degree, or be studying towards one, in Learning & Development, Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Multimedia Design, Communications or a related field

Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills

Good Microsoft 365 skills

An interest in digital learning, AI and instructional design

Strong organisation and time-management skills

The confidence to collaborate with different people and ask the right questions

A willingness to learn, experiment and keep improving

Bonus points if you've played around with:

Around 1 - 2 years' experience in learning content development, instructional design, content creation or a similar environment

Articulate 360, Rise or Storyline

Canva

Synthesia or similar video tools

Learning Management Systems

Facilitation or presentations

Workflow automation

AI tools and prompt writing
