Job Overview

Clicks Westguard is seeking a qualified Nursing Practitioner to manage a commercially sustainable clinic while delivering high-quality Primary Health Care services. This role blends clinical expertise with operational and financial responsibility to ensure efficient and compliant clinic performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Primary Health Care services including minor ailments and wound care

  • Conduct lifestyle screening tests and health assessments

  • Provide adult and baby immunisations, including Well Baby services

  • Offer reproductive health services

  • Perform phlebotomy services

  • Maintain secure and accurate electronic patient records

  • Manage stock, cold chain, and prevent shrinkage

  • Compile operational and financial reports

  • Ensure medical waste compliance and clinic safety standards

  • Plan and execute health campaigns and β€œHealth Days”

  • Develop and maintain professional healthcare networks


Qualifications

Education

  • Registered Professional Nurse

  • 3-year Nursing Diploma or 4-year Bachelor of Nursing Degree

  • Valid SANC registration and indemnity

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ practical nursing experience

  • Experience in Primary Health Care, Community Health or Midwifery preferred

Skills

  • Financial and commercial awareness

  • Strong clinic administration and reporting skills

  • Patient counselling and communication skills

  • Stock and inventory management

  • Time management and organisational skills

  • MS Office proficiency

  • Knowledge of Unisolv and Allegra (advantageous)
