Are you a commercially astute Quantity Surveyor with experience on heavy industrial, mining or EPC/EPCM projects?
A well-established engineering and construction organisation is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, where you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates and project budgets.
Manage contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and assess progress valuations and payment certificates.
Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control.
Manage variation orders, claims and final accounts.
Support commercial negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
Produce regular commercial and financial reports.
Identify and manage commercial risks across multiple projects.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' Quantity Surveying experience on industrial, mining or EPC/EPCM projects.
Proven experience working with SMPP and/or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) projects.
Strong knowledge of cost estimating, contract administration, valuations, variations and cost control.
Solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Quantity Surveying software.
