Description

Performing functional health and safety of all Grain facilities to ensure compliance to occupational health and safety legislation by doing internal inspection and accompanying external Inspectors and report accordingly

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

Grade 12 (Essential)

SAMTRAC Qualification

Incident Investigation Level 3

Fumigation Certificate

Relevant Diploma or Degree in Risk Management will be advantageous

Drivers' license

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a safety and risk management environment

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES

Sound agricultural knowledge

Strong understanding of SHERQ systems

Knowledge of the OHS Act, particularly within the handling and storage industry

Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 70%)

Strong planning, organising, and prioritisation abilities
