Job Description

Lead designs for landfill barriers, capping, leachate and gas systems

Deliver waste infrastructure designs for RTSs, MRFs, and gas systems

Ensure full compliance with SA environmental regulations and best practice

Support feasibility, planning, risk assessment, and technical reviews

Drive technical quality, team development, and innovation

Collaborate with the Technical Director on strategy and proposals

Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers.

Skills & Experience

Minimum 8+ years' in solid waste and landfill engineering

Proven experience leading technical teams or complex projects

Strong environmental legislation and permitting knowledge

Expertise in geosynthetics, landfill design, geotechnical analysis, and risk review

Strong client engagement and proposal development skills

Proficient in Civil 3D, RocScience, and MS Project

Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering

Registered with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)
