Introduction

The Clicks Group is looking to recruit a Skills Development Coordinator to work within the Learning and development department. The role will be based at the Clicks Head Office in Woodstock and report into the Skill Development Manager.

Job Description

Job Purpose

To assist with the coordination, administration and submission of the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR), support quality management and accreditation requirements, and provide skills development support to business units to optimize skills levies, rebates and grants in line with South African legislation and the organisation's people and transformation agenda.

Job Objectives:

Build relationships with allocated business units to provide day-to-day skills development support and guidance.

Collate, validate and maintain evidence (attendance, invoices, PoE, PoA, ETD records) to support WSP/ATR reporting and SETA audits.

Coordinate data inputs and support the timely submission of the WSP and ATR in line with relevant SETA requirements and timelines.,

Monitor progress against the approved WSP and prepare periodic reports for L&D and business stakeholders.

Support identification and implementation of projects to maximise mandatory and discretionary grant opportunities.

Maintain document control and assist with continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to uphold provider accreditation (e.g., SETA and Pharmacy Council).

Conduct routine internal audits of learning interventions for compliance with policy, SETA/QCTO requirements and legislative standards.

Act as a liaison point between business units and the relevant SETA for queries, uploads and scheduling of verifications/audits.

Contribute to induction, learnership and internship administration (contracts, enrolments, tracking, completion) and support youth and transformation initiatives.

Uphold compliance with Skills Development Act & Levies Act, SAQA/NQF, Employment Equity, BCEA and LRA within scope of the role.

Minimum requirements

Job Related Knowledge:

Skills Development Act and Skills Development

Levies Act (foundational understanding).

National Qualifications Framework (NQF),

SAQA and QCTO basics.

SETA processes (WSP/ATR, mandatory vs discretionary grants, verifications).

Adult learning principles and basic learning methodologies.

Quality Management Systems (policy, SOPs, evidence requirements).

Job Related Skills

Planning and organising

Attention to detail and document control

Analytical and numerical accuracy (levies, grant tracking)

Written and verbal communication

Intermediate Excel and MS Office (pivot tables, lookups advantageous)

Familiarity with SETA systems/portals and LMS administration

Job Experience

1 - 2 years' experience in Learning & Development or HR administration with exposure to skills development processes.

Experience supporting or compiling WSP/ATR submissions (data collation, evidence management).

Experience working with SETA stakeholders or provider portals (uploads, queries).

Co-ordination of Bursary Scheme.

Learnerships/internships administration and monitoring.

Training needs analysis exposure and/or skills audits.

Education

Relevant 3-year qualification in Human Resources/HRD/Training or equivalen
