Requirements
National Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Millwright Trade tested
Understanding of technical drawings and technical guides.
3+ People/ team supervisory experience
Must be able to think analytically and should have problem solving skills.
Must be able to function under pressure.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when required (Utility shutdowns takes place on Sundays once a month and it is required for this position to be present.
Must be willing to do standby duty

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain the process control & instrumentation
Maintain & repair all instrumentation, process control equipment & automation systems
Optimise all control systems regarding processes and production lines
Provide technical and specialist support at all levels to the entire branch
Ensure that all process control software is backed up & left up to date according to set standards
Assist with project work, modifications & upgrading of control systems
Administer high level software & systems
Responsible for process control & instrumentation
Responsible for normal and preventative maintenance on process control systems, included fault tracking, handling of large breakdowns, storage of the latest duplicate process control software and resettlement of process communication on software as well as exchange of process control hardware
Responsible to communicate any need for modification to process control hard- or software
Organise maintenance resources, ensure quality of workmanship and perform Artisan: Millwright tasks
Ensure effective execution of all maintenance and repairs on machinery
Provide necessary assistance to Artisans working on breakdowns
Ensure modifications and work done by Artisans comply with standards
Ensure involvement in all maintenance/service tasks, closely working with agents to ensure equipment standards and supplier conformance
Maintain and repair equipment and automation systems
Report on production availability and continually strive to improve productivity
Provide technical and specialist support
Inspect and test equipment as per prescribed ELKE schedule
Do fault finding on failures and take corrective action
Perform preventative maintenance
Ad-hoc activities
Participate actively in Way Better Teams
Assist with maintenance administration
Ensure you work according to Clover's safety procedures
Responsible for standby duties
