Purpose of the position
The successful candidate will Join our dynamic team as a Control & Instrumentation Technologist, where you will play a pivotal role in leveraging your technical expertise to innovate and design cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
In this position, you will oversee and manage engineering design operations and construction activities, ensuring that all projects align with safety standards while achieving our clients' desired goals.
You will be at the forefront of addressing complex challenges by applying both established and groundbreaking technologies to develop effective solutions. Take the lead in executing engineering projects and guarantee the seamless operation of systems and processes, driving progress and excellence in every endeavor.
Qualifications/experience:
BTech degree in Engineering or equivalent
Professional certification - Pr Tech Eng or Eligible to register.
Specialised certifications in control systems and networks will be advantageous
3-5 years in a similar role
Is eligible to register as a Technologist with ECSA
Required outputs and responsibilities
Project Delivery: Implementation
Managing engineering projects from conception to completion
Work in single- and multi-disciplinary project teams for deliverables on Greenfields and Brownfields projects
Participate in design reviews, studies, and meetings
Develop fit-for-purpose solutions
Provide technical input for basic and detailed design
Ensuring cost and schedule control
Staying up to date in their respective fields Mentor and develop team members, ensuring skills are aligned with industry standards and project requirements.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Knowledge and experience of C&I design engineering.
Basic knowledge of SCADA development.
Knowledge of PLC & DCS systems (Siemens, ABB, etc)
Knowledge of field instrumentation
Knowledge of Industrial networks (ethernet, Modbus, etc)
